About Lavish Naph’s

Naph's LLC, also known as Lavish Naph's Clothing Brand, was founded by Maliq Nathaniel, a 28-year-old Oakland native. Maliq spent his middle school years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before returning to West Oakland for high school. It was during his senior year at Laney College's Gateway to College program that he met his wife, Meylia, and the two soon welcomed their first child, Meyson, in 2017, followed by Maddox in 2021.

Maliq's goal with Naph's LLC is to create generational wealth for his children while also providing quality clothing for his community. The brand's name was inspired by Naphtali, the founder of the Israelite tribe of Naphtali, and Maliq shortened it to "Naph," a nickname he went by. The acronym N.A.P.H.S. stands for "nascent, audacious panache, hysteria, and success," all qualities that Maliq believes are necessary for success as a nascent entrepreneur.

Naph's LLC has quickly gained a reputation for high-quality streetwear and an unapologetic approach to design. Maliq and his team work tirelessly to create collections that reflect their passion for style and their commitment to their community.
